An Italian broadcaster has picked up primetime documentary The Secret World of Lego from UK distributor Cineflix Rights.

Sky Italia has acquired Waddell Media’s one-hour special, which gives viewers an insight into Lego headquarters and follows two adult fans hoping to transform their love for the plastic building blocks into cash. The show first aired on Channel 4 in the UK in June.

In total, Sky Italia has taken more than 120 hours of programming from Cineflix Rights, including the first four seasons of Cineflix Productions crime strand Motives & Murders (43×60’).

Discovery Italy, meanwhile, has bought into Cineflix Rights’ expanding Border Security franchise, taking newest title Border Security: America’s Front Line (28×30’, Force Four) alongside season nine of Border Security (20×30’).

The broadcaster has also acquired the first two runs of crime series Murder Book (23×60’), which is produced by LMNO Productions.
