Leftfield hires Oxygen exec

US prodco Leftfield Pictures has named Jordana Hochman as its new VP of programming.

Hochman was most recently VP of current series at Oxygen, where she oversaw shows including My Shopping Addiction, Find Me My Man, Killer Couples and I’m Having Their Baby.

Prior to Oxygen, she was director and executive producer of non-fiction and alternative programming at A&E and Bio Channel, working on shows such as Intervention and Parking Wars

Leftfield is behind reality show Pawn Stars and acquired Real Housewives of New Jersey maker Sirens Media in March.

Exec VP of programming David George said: “Jordana brings a highly creative skill set that includes broad experience on both the network and production sides of the television business.

“She will be a tremendous asset to Leftfield Pictures as we continue to diversify our slate and strengthen our network relationships.”

Leftfield Pictures is part of Leftfield Entertainment, which was formed in 2013 to act as a parent company to oversee the expansion of its brand and production slate via acquisitions, new joint ventures, and producer deals.
