Lat Am nets bag Brave & Beautiful

Brave & Beautiful first aired on Star TV

Broadcasters in Colombia, Puerto Rico and Paraguay have picked up new Turkish drama Brave & Beautiful from Scandi-based distributor Eccho Rights.

The series, from Turkey’s Ay Yapim, is a romance set against a deep, historical family feud and debuted on Star TV last year. It stars Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Tuba Büyüküstün in the lead roles.

It has now headed to Canal Uno in Colombia, Wapa TV in Puerto Rico and Telefuturo in Paraguay after Eccho struck the latest in a string of sales, also including bTV in Bulgaria.

“We have already secured 20 sales for Brave & Beautiful, with more in the final stages of negotiation,” said Eccho MD Fredrik af Malmborg.

The distributor picked up the series as part of a package deal with Ay Yapim last autumn.
