Last Panthers emerge in CEE

The Last Panthers has already aired on Canal+ and Sky’s European channels

Sky Atlantic and Canal+ crime drama The Last Panthers has been picked up for broadcast across Central and Eastern Europe.

The 6×60’ show is inspired by the true story of Balkan jewel thieves The Pink Panthers and is based on an idea by French journalist Jérôme Pierrat.

It will debut on Fox Crime channels in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia on March 21, and in Bulgaria on April 19, after being picked up by Fox Networks Group Bulgaria and Balkans.

The show is produced by France’s Haut et Court (The Returned) and the UK’s Warp Films (Southcliffe), along with SundanceTV in the US. Sky Vision and StudioCanal are distributing the series internationally.

The series premiered on Canal+ in France in October and simultaneously across Sky channels in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Italy the following month.
