Lambur hires second Breakthrough exec

Fledgling outfit Lambur Productions has brought onboard another exec from fellow Canadian producer Breakthrough Entertainment.

Yenae Tesfai, Breakthrough’s manager of development and production, will be joining Toronto-based Lambur Productions as senior director of development and production.

Company founder Joan Lambur, who was exec VP of family entertainment at Breakthrough, previously hired the latter firm’s VP of family entertainment Suzanne Wilson as chief operating officer.

Lambur Productions was unveiled last month and aims to create global children’s and family programming for linear television, SVoD and licensing.

The firm has had financial support from Canadian production company Sinking Ship Entertainment, which has taken a minority stake in the nascent outfit. Lambur Productions is housed at Sinking Ship’s headquarters in Toronto.
