Lagardère’s Mezzo makes music in Asia

France’s Lagardère Active has signed a carriage deal with Asian channels operator Lightning International to distribute one of its networks across the Philippines.

Lagardère’s music channel Mezzo Live HD, which offers classical, jazz and dance music and related programming, will launch on Sky Cable and Destiny Cable in the country.

It’s the first agreement in the Philippines for the pay TV channel, which is now available in five markets across Asia and plans to offer more localised content during the rest of the year.

Hong Kong-based Lightning distributes a range of TV channels across Asia including Trace Sport Stars HD and Australia Channel.
