Lagardère secures DreamWorks deal

The Adventures of Puss in Boots

France’s Lagardère Active has signed an exclusive agreement with DreamWorks Animation to carry the producer’s original TV series on its kids’ channels.

The deal sees Lagardère Active acquiring exclusive pay TV and free-to-air (FTA) rights to DreamWorks series for its cable channels Canal J and Tiji, as well as its FTA DTT network Gulli. The agreement also includes catch-up rights.

The partnership will start from September 2016, when Tiji will launch DreamWorks TV’s Dinotrux.

The deal also covers past series such as The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Dragons: Race to the Edge, All Hail King Julien, Turbo: F.A.S.T, The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show and Dawn of the Croods.
