NEWS BRIEF: Free-to-air German kids’ channel KiKa has picked up the third season of 3D animation Masha & the Bear and will premiere it in primetime next month.

Produced by Russian animation studio Animaccord and distributed by Ink Media, the third season has already been picked up by HBO Europe, TVP Poland, France Televisions and Cartoonito in the UK, among others. KiKa will launch the third season at 18.00 on June 18.
