Khloé Kardashian, ID link for true crime

MIPTV: Discovery-owned US cablenet Investigation Discovery has greenlit a true crime series executive produced by Khloé Kardashian.

Twisted Sisters is being produced by Red Arrow-owned US prodco 44 Blue Productions and will premiere on ID next year.

The 6×60’ series looks at outrageous crimes that sisters have committed together down the years. Reality star Kardashian will executive produce along with Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch of 44 Blue.

ID has also greenlit a feature documentary from Lightbox, the UK production outfit founded by Man on Wire and Searching for Sugar Man producer Simon Chinn and his cousin Jonathan Chinn (LA 92, Fantastic Lies).

Gypsy’s Revenge (1×120’) is the story of Dee Dee Blanchard who was murdered by Gypsy Rose, the daughter she had apparently nursed through several terrible illnesses. After the killing, it turned out things were not as they seemed, with Dee Dee having forced her daughter to feign illness and undergo needless surgeries to profit from charities.

Lightbox recently announced greenlights including Diagnosis (working title) an eight-part Netflix Original documentary series produced in partnership with Scott Rudin Productions and The New York Times; Weinstein (working title), a major feature documentary for BBC2; and Food Exposed with Nelufar Hedayat (8×60’) for US Network FUSION.
