Jennifer Askin has joined Kew Media Group Distribution, the company formerly known as Content Media prior to its acquisition by Kew Media, which was set up by Blue Ice Group co-founder Steven Silver and Alliance Atlantis alum Peter Sussman in early 2017.

Askin, who has spent the past six years at entertainment consulting company Askin & Company, will report to Jonathan Ford, executive VP of sales, distribution at KMG.

She will be responsible for sales of all KMG content across all genres, including feature films, to US and Lat Am buyers on a regional and pan-regional basis.

Prior to joining Askin & Company, Askin held the role of director of international sales at Alfred Haber Distribution between 2009 and 2012, continuing to work with the company as a consultant until her appointment at KMG.

Before working in content distribution, Askin spent seven years in network and cable news, with roles at NBC News, MSNBC and ABC News.

KMG launched with the acquisition of six companies including Content Media, Frantic Films and Jigsaw Productions.
