Keshet takes Fallet to MipTV

Loaded is being coproduced by Channel 4 and AMC

Israeli distributor Keshet International (KI) has added a Scandinavian noir crime dramedy to its slate ahead of MipTV in Cannes next month.

English- and Swedish-language series Fallet (The Case) was produced by FLX for Swedish pubcaster SVT. The 8×30’ show follows an unlikely pairing of UK and Swedish detectives charged with solving a gruesome murder.

KI’s MipTV slate also includes Loaded (8×45’), a comedy drama focusing on the lives of tech entrepreneurs being coproduced by Hillbilly Television and Keshet UK for Channel 4 in the UK and AMC in the US. It is based on the original Keshet Broadcasting series Mesudarim, which was created by Muli Segev and Assaf Harel.

World’s Most Evil Killers (20×46’), a true-crime factual series from Woodcut Media for Sky Pick in the UK, is also included.

The shows join existing dramas on KI’s slate such as The A Word season two, Prisoners of War India and The Paper.

KI’s formats line-up, meanwhile, includes fast-paced studio gameshow Contacts, in which players must rely on the knowledge of the people from their mobile phone contacts to answer questions against the clock; and Flight Club, in which contestants have to complete challenges en route to the airport in order to win a holiday.

Celebrity panel show Lovers or Liars is another new format on a slate that includes social experiments Manbirth and Boxed, which launched at Mipcom last year.
