Keshet opens door on Elevator Pitch

Israel’s Keshet International will use MipTV to launch a new real-time, interactive TV format that allows viewers to vote on contestants’ business ideas.

Elevator Pitch sees entrepreneurs stepping into a lift to deliver a pitch to business tycoons in front of a live audience in the hope of securing funding.

The show is accompanied by an app that allows the audience to vote on whether they would buy the product or idea being pitched.

The original programme, produced by Tedy Productions, will launch on Keshet Broadcasting in Israel later this year and is being shopped globally by Keshet International, distribution arm of Keshet Media.
