Keshet DCP, the joint venture between Israel’s Keshet International (KI) and US-based DC Media, is developing a new US version of gameshow format Boom!.

^[1]The project marks the first co-development deal between KI and DC Media under the Keshet DCP banner following its creation in October.

Boom! requires teams of contestants to answer trivia questions within a strict time limit to defuse mock bombs and secure prize money. The show debuted on Keshet Broadcasting’s Channel 2 yesterday.

The development deal comes after ABC ordered 10 episodes of interactive singing competition format Rising Star from Keshet DCP. It’s been slated to premiere this summer.
