Keshet adds DRG, BBCWW duo

Israeli distributor Keshet International (KI) has hired former DRG and BBC Worldwide executives to bolster its London team.

Anke Stoll is joining the firm as director of acquisitions and coproductions while Rose Hughes arrives as senior sales manager based in the UK office.

Stoll will report to Sebastien Burkhardt, senior VP of digital and acquisitions, and brings 20 years of experience to the role. Prior to joining KI she was VP of acquisitions at DRG where she oversaw international acquisitions and coproductions for more than eight years.

Prior to that she was head of German speaking markets at BBC Worldwide (BBCWW), helping to establish BBC Worldwide Germany.

She will now drive the acquisition of formats and finished programming across all genres and from all territories in line with Keshet’s portfolio. She will also work alongside Atar Dekel, head of coproductions, on KI’s multiple cross-border coproduction projects.

Rose Hughes, meanwhile, was previously senior sales executive at BBCWW, responsible for sales of formats including Bake Off and Dancing with the Stars, to the Nordics and Benelux.

Prior to that she was sales executive at DRG and head of documentary and news sales at Journeyman Pictures. She will now be responsible for format sales across Scandinavia, Benelux and Canada and finished programming in the US, UK and Ireland.
