Kate & Mim-Mim continue their travels

Broadcasters across the world have acquired preschool animated show Kate & Mim-Mim from FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.

The show’s first season (26×22′) has been picked up by Disney in Asia, MBC in the Middle East, ETV in South Africa, YLE in Finland, Karusel in Russia, Cartoonito in Italy, MiniMini in Poland and Minika in Turkey.

The sales come after Disney Junior in the US came onboard the second season (23×22′) of the show earlier this year.

Aimed at children aged 2-5, Kate & Mim-Mim follows the adventures of a little girl and her toy rabbit who travel to a fantasy world.

Created by husband-and-wife team Scott and Julie Stewart, the first season was produced and developed by Nerd Corps Entertainment, now owned by DHX Media.

The show is currently present in a total of 125 territories.

Other broadcasters to have aired the first season include CBeebies in the UK, Super RTL in Germany, Clan in Spain, DR in Denmark, SVT in Sweden, Tiji in France and Okto in Singapore.
