Kabillion launches tween VoD

US children’s outfit Kabillion is extending its VoD network with a new service aimed at tweens.

The company has partnered with producer Metamedia Entertainment to set up K-Go, which will feature branded, social and gaming content that incorporates 360º video and augmented reality/virtual reality experiences.

It will be overseen by Metamedia Entertainment, which was set up by former Disney interactive executive David Moon, Kabillion co-founder Luis Anthony Gaud and Jeroen de Cloe, owner of software development studio Sticky Studios.

“Our next-generation network will produce and distribute entertainment-based experiences that will extend Kabillion’s reach into the new platform and content formats that tweens are increasingly interacting with today,” said Kabillion president David Di Lorenzo.
