NEWS BRIEF: US cablenet TruTV has promoted the man that oversaw the channel’s rebrand from Court TV in 2008.
Marc Juris, previously Tru’s executive VP and general manager, has been promoted to exec VP and chief operating officer at the Turner Broadcasting System-owned channel. The former Rainbow Media Holdings exec will report to Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks.
