Our client is an established producer & distributor of premium sports content & programming for global markets. Its expertise lies in creating stimulating & original high end content to Broadcasters in all media formats.

They seek a Commercial Manager who can lead the development & execution of the sales and marketing strategy across defined territories in Europe and can contribute a combination of astute commercial, creative & client focused skills to generate compelling, revenue generating solutions.

You would take responsibility for the account development of existing & new traditional and digital broadcast operators, whilst building market intelligence & an intrinsic business & cultural understanding of the region.

Operating as part of a London based European team you would work collaboratively with the GM, Europe and other Commercial Managers to exploit the full potential of the impressive rights content portfolio for individual & collective European territories. You would assume direct ownership of all accounts in the region, taking the lead on client pitches, negotiations and territory development whilst pooling your knowledge & experiences for the good of the team.

Job Requirements:

You will:
  • have a minimum of 3 years’ sales experience, preferably in media content distribution or related broadcast sales and a network of established relationships with European broadcasters
  • be a proven negotiator and business developer, used to working in a results-orientated environment against key commercial objectives & sales targets
  • thrive on working autonomously on territory but contributing collaboratively to the European team strategy & its aspirations
  • be cogent, positive, engaging and a highly effective communicator
  • ideally speak one or more mainland European languages
  • have a passion for Sport
