UKTV are currently recruiting for a Programme Funding Executive.

What you'll be up to
  • Work closely with other members of the Programme Funding team to manage day to day aspects of UKTV's co-production, programme sales and AFP activities
  • Build productive working relationships internally & externally (predominantly at a peer level) with key stakeholders, to build insight and a comprehensive understanding of the market; regularly analysing available data / reports
  • Support programme funding negotiations by analysing and interpreting market intelligence, providing insight and information about the international and domestic production and distribution markets
  • Work with the rest of the Programme Funding team to create & take ownership for appropriate tracking & reporting tools, successfully communicating key information to the rest of the business; tracking, measuring and reporting progress against LRP targets, managing key process and assisting with forecasting and administrative tasks as necessary
  • Assist with the production of presentations and credentials packs, as well as taking ownership for key reports and status documents
  • Assist in the day-to-day relationship management of key external partners; helping to identify new co-production opportunities in order to maximise the growth of UKTV's original commissioning slate
  • Help to build UKTV's reputation as the leading producer / source of original content, and the co-production partner of choice

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail, with an ability to process large amounts of information
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely in a written format
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently, using initiative to prioritise and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, and a track record of building strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Financially savvy with good commercial acumen - must have prior experience of working in a highly commercial and fast paced environment
  • Broadcast media experience preferred but not essential - a background in Sales, Content Production, Commercial or Media / Marketing would be appropriate
  • A detail oriented multi-tasker and team player, comfortable responding to “client” needs and shifting focus in accordance with internal & external priorities
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, PPT, & Work
  • Confident interacting with people at all levels internally and externally
  • A proactive & flexible approach to work, comfortable with a dynamic environment & constantly changing priorities
  • A genuine passion for television
