Job Description:

TRX are a pioneering start up, revolutionising the TV Distribution industry. Bringing together experts from TV and Technology, TRX makes thousands of hours of content available from over 50 leading content providers such as SKY, Discovery Communications, all3media and Sesame Workshop for TV buyers to acquire content in a streamlined and effective way.

TRX has an advisory board of key industry figures including John McVay, CEO of U.K. producers’ association PACT, Stephen Lambert, Founder and CEO of Studio Lambert and Nadine Nohr, former CEO of Shine Intl.

As part of their growth and expansion TRX seek to hire a Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with strong experience in Event Management and understanding of digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Events – develop and execute event plans and logistical management for c.20 international events, conferences and markets annually
  • Manage the annual event calendar, budget and identify new or relevant industry events. Create proposals for event attendance and participation along with ROI tracking against budgeted spend
  • Vendor management – sourcing and developing relationships with vendors and suppliers required to execute events
  • Digital marketing - creation and optimisation of digital activity across all major channels including online advertising, content, social media, SEO, PPC and email marketing
  • Advertising – identify and negotiate on and offline advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Work with trade press to secure coverage and speaking engagements

Job Requirements:

Experience in the TV industry is desired as is experience launching a product or working in a start-up environment. The successful candidate will be able to use their transferrable skills across multiple areas of the business. This is a very exciting opportunity for a self-starter to progress their career and grow a team of marketers alongside the Head of Marketing.

Desired Skills
  • 5+ years in a similar level role
  • Understanding of the TV and Media sector
  • Photo and video editing skills desirable but not mandatory 
  • Proficient user of analytical tools, CRM and email marketing tools
  • Exceptionally organised and able to juggle and prioritise multiple activities at any one time
  • Adaptable to a fast-moving environment
