Job Description:

This is a rare opportunity to make your mark in the field of sports television marketing and international business. With offices currently in London, Melbourne and Miami we are currently restructuring our sales division to maintain and manage our significant growth.
 
Our business is the creation and marketing of premium sports content / programming. The role involves the execution of the group’s media sales strategies and generating revenue through exploitation of Inverleigh’s impressive content portfolio in Mediterranean Europe.  
 
Based in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for account management of existing Mediterranean European based broadcasters, both traditional and digital broadcast operators, whilst developing our client network in the region.

This role is a highly sought position in sports media / television which involves international account management with travel and uncapped commission. The role will suit an energetic, solution-oriented professional with outstanding work ethic and commitment to personal achievement.
 

Job Requirements:

  • Be accountable for developing and delivering commercial objectives for all markets within the territories
  • Be responsible for the generation of revenues while developing the growth of our core business in the region
  • Work closely with the European GM/Sales Director in the development of sales strategy, demonstrating expert understanding and knowledge of regional markets, rights framework and windowing strategy for Inverleigh content
  • Assume direct ownership of all accounts in region, taking lead as the senior client facing Inverleigh representative in the territory in solution development, pitches and negotiations
  • Thrive on tackling challenges and have demonstrated excellence in consistently meeting and exceeding targets
  • Be a lateral thinker and possess strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
  • Have a passion for travel and the desire to conduct business with clients of diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Actively contribute to company values and culture
 
About You
  • You are an experienced Sales Manager with a successful track record, ideally in media content distribution in the region
  • You speak English and at least one Mediterranean European language fluently
  • You are a solution oriented territory manager, who is consultative, a great listener and solution focused
  • You have a network of established relationships with key broadcasters in the region
  • You have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • You are an exceptional communicator who has clear goals and strives for continuous improvement
  • You build strong working relationships while being results-orientated and driven to achieve sales targets
  • You approach tasks strategically, can work autonomously and within a team to achieve individual and group objectives
  • You have a positive, engaging personality and the energy to effect change
  • You have a passion for sport!
