Are you an ambitious Senior Sales Manager in Broadcasting with a passion for Format and Programme sales? If yes, we want to talk to you!

As a Senior Format and Programme Sales Manager you will have a sound understanding of production, strong track record of format and programme sales negotiation, an interest in growing new businesses and an advanced knowledge of Format agreements and rights.

You will have polished presentation skills and be an expert deal maker who has worked cross culturally managing your own territories building strong relationships.

This role is based in Hammersmith West London, in our fabulous brand new office space.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing regional format and finished program sales strategies across the A+E Networks catalogue. 
 
Working closely with Programming, Marketing and Sales teams to develop sales strategies and meet/exceed targets on an annual basis. Work to maximize revenues from the sales of formats and the distribution of a 14,000+ hour Factual , TV Movies and Scripted catalogue, growing by 1,200 new hours each year. 

Roles and responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed annual targets. Identify and exploit sales opportunities and potential strategic partnerships. Lead with creative deal making and innovative strategic relationship building

  • ​Develop strategy and forecast revenue targets per title and per territory. Work closely with JV/Channel Partners to agree objectives ensuring a positive contribution to the overall international business
  • Meet and exceed annual revenue target across EMEA (Territories TBC)
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, prepare and deliver sales pitches
  • Undertake sales trips and attend relevant markets/pitches (MIP, Euro Pitch etc). Negotiate terms and close deals working closely with both clients and AETN’s Legal Department. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills
  • Meet and exceed annual revenue target across EMEA (Territories TBC)
  • Maintain Sales Tracker
  • Track personal targets, maintain clear records of pitches, deals in progress and concluded
  • Regularly and effectively communicate progress, challenges and accomplishments
  • Provide updates on trends in territory
