MIPTV: Toonbox Animation Studio’s preschool multi-platform series Kit & Kate has been licensed to  two broadcasters in EMEA.

The 32×5’ 2D animated series, distributed by France’s Ankama Animations, has been picked up by international broadcaster Jim Jam for its EMEA footprint, covering Poland, Benelux, the Middle East and Africa, and by Finnish pubcaster YLE.

Kit & Kate follows two kittens who learn how to make good choices while having fun. The multi-platform brand includes apps for tablets and mobile phones, physical and digital books and online videos.

wolf_creekEarlier this year Ankama secured licensing deals with South Korea’s EBS, SVoD service Icflix in MENA and Disney Junior Australia and New Zealand. Further deals are under discussion and the company said it is also seeking licensing partners for the property in EMEA and Asia Pacific.
