J-Lo’s dancers get own show

Jennifer Lopez is reported to be producing a new dance-based reality series for NBCUniversal’s US cablenet Oxygen.

The as-yet-unnamed show will document the lives of Lopez’s backing dancers as they prepare to accompany the singer on tour.

Lead choreographer Casper Smart, who is currently in a relationship with Lopez, is expected  to star.

Lopez recently fronted XIX Entertainment and Endemol Argentina’s talent show Q’Viva! The Chosen, which concluded in the US on Fox last month, having debuted on Univision in January. The format has also been picked up by numerous broadcasters across Latin America.
