ITVSGE goes for Corinthian’s Green

Distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVSGE) has appointed a new executive VP of kids content and distribution.

Steve Green is taking the newly created role charged with growing the company’s kids content and distribution division, and overseeing its merchandising and licensing operation. He will report to MD of ITVSGE Maria Kyriacou.

Green was a founding partner of Corinthian Entertainment, which launched in May 2011 to provide advice and support on development and exploitation of multiplatform entertainment brands. It works with BBC Worldwide and kids’ publisher Egmont Books among others.

Prior to that he was the launch CEO of Galleon Holdings, a China-based publisher of digital games and entertainment for mobile and online channels.

ITVSGE’s heads of merchandise, marketing, consumer products and brand development will all report into Green on a range of titles, with particular focus on the new version of Thunderbirds that is due to launch later this year.
