Cold Feet returned for season six in September

MIPCOM: UK commercial broadcaster ITV has renewed comedy-drama Cold Feet for another season.

The popular 1990s drama was a ratings hit for ITV during its time on air between November 1998 and March 2003 and was revived for a sixth run this year.

Maria Kyriacou, ITV Studios president of international, announced the seventh season at Mipcom this morning.

“The show has been wonderful and a huge success, not only in terms of ratings, the overnights and catch-up, but also with the social media attention it’s got,” she said.

The sixth run of Cold Feet began on September 5. Before its revival, the show was sold into 33 territories and was also re-versioned for US network NBC. However, the Seattle-based version was axed in October 1999 after just four episodes.
