ITV treats The Untreatables

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a format from 7 Wonder focusing on extraordinary health conditions.

The UK prodco backed by Australia’s Seven Network is working on The Untreatables, which looks at frequently misdiagnosed ailments.

The show brings together patients blighted by mystery illnesses and conditions with world-leading doctors.

The series, which will air in ITV primetime, reunites Embarrassing Bodies commissioning editors Sue Murphy and Kate Teckman with the show’s creator Alexandra Fraser.

It will be executive produced by 7 Wonder creative director Duncan Coates, who was behind ITV’s Long Lost Family.
