ITV drama chief joins Content London

CONTENT LONDON: Steve November, director of drama at ITV, has joined Sky and BBC for an epic line-up of talent at C21’s Drama Summit as part of Content London.

November will share his development plans and discuss the latest thinking behind ITV’s raft of new commissions.

Appointed director of drama in April 2013, he oversees a drama slate which includes Britain’s most watched Drama, Downton Abbey, and the highest rating new dramas of the year, Broadchurch and Mr Selfridge.

November joins a stellar line-up which includes commissioning, producing and writing talent from the UK and international drama business.

This includes Ben Stephenson, controller of BBC drama commissioning, Stuart Murphy, director of entertainment channels, Sky and Emma Frost, writer, Jamaica Inn, The White Queen among others.

The International Drama Summit is part of Content London, a two-day event featuring three other strands: Propaganda Factory, FutureMedia and The World Funding Forum. Each is designed for executives working in the international content business to better understand cross-sector opportunities in the ever-changing media and entertainment sector.
