Italy picks three Sky formats

MIPFORMATS: Italian channels Italia Uno and Rai 2 have picked up three entertainment formats for local adaptation from Sky Vision.

50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy

Mediaset-owned Italia Uno has renewed its local version of music quiz Bring The Noise for a second 5×120’ season that will premiere in May. It has also picked up stand-up comedy format Michael McIntyre’s Big Show for local adaptation.

Sky Vision, the sales arm of European satcaster Sky, has also sold 50 Ways to Rai 2, with Toro Media working on an Italian version.

The format initially premiered on Sky1 in the UK titled 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy and Toro will now produce 50 Modi per far Fuori Papà (50 Ways to Kill Your Dad) hosted by Roby and Francesco Faccinetti.
