Italian net uncovers Oscar’s Oasis

NEWS BRIEF: An Italian broadcaster has acquired UK distributor Cake’s series Oscar’s Oasis, coproduced with French CGI animation studio TeamTO and Tuba Entertainment in Korea for TF1 in France.

Discovery Italy will air the 78×7′ non-verbal toon on its free-to-air channel K2 later this year. It follows a lonely lizard who perpetually crosses paths with a seemingly endless horde of enemies over unforgiving desert terrain.
