Israel gets with ZDF’s Team

ZDF’s crime drama The Team

Israel’s HOT channel has picked up European crime drama The Team from ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE), the commercial arm of German public broadcaster ZDF.

HOT has acquired both the TV and VoD rights for a three-year license of the show, which follows a team of detectives from Berlin, Copenhagen and Antwerp as they try to solve a mysterious series of murders across Europe.

Fred Burcksen, ZDFE’s exec VP and chief operating officer, said: “The collaboration between ZDFE.drama and HOT was genuinely fruitful and stimulating, and we are looking forward to more such projects with HOT.”
