iPad app for CreaCon kids’ toon

Norwegian kids’ entertainment company CreaCon Entertainment has launched its first branded app based on its CGI preschool series City of Friends.

The CGI show, which follows a group of urban emergency service vehicles, has sold into more than 145 territories globally and is being developed into a feature film, as revealed by C21 in October.

Franchise creator and CreaCon Entertainment CEO Carl Christian Hamre has now hooked up with Drammen-based developer Ravn Studios to create an app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod.

The app features eight interactive games based on the show’s characters and a memory game. It has gone live on the App Store for £2.50 (US$3.88).
