Int’l nets settle in The Ranch

Animated equestrian series The Ranch is into a second season

Broadcasters in Canada, CEE and the Middle East have acquired the second season of children’s equestrian adventure show The Ranch from Zodiak Kids.

The 26×26′ season, produced by Zodiak Kids Studios, will air on TFO in Canada and Gulli in Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Israel.

Al Jazeerah, meanwhile, has picked up the show for its children and family channels and AMC Networks International has taken it in Central Europe for its network Minimax. Zodiak Kids distributes worldwide.

The story follows a young girl and her struggles to hold on to a black stallion she saved but doesn’t yet own.

The first series was sold into more than 30 territories, while the second season was pre-bought by Neovision in Poland, VRT in Flemish Belgium, TV3 in Spain, SVT in Sweden, YLE in Finland, NRK in Norway and Canal Panda in Portugal.
