Int’l nets Jet off with PBS Kids toon

Virgin Media and WeKids are among the international broadcasters have acquired Ready Jet Go!, the 3D animated series from PBS Kids in the US that aims to get children interested in astronomy.

BT and Virgin Media in the UK, Fox/Nat Geo Kids in Latin America and WeKids in Asia have taken the first season of the show, joining broadcasters such as ABC in Australia and MBC in the Middle East.

The series was created by Craig Bartlett (Hey Arnold!, Dinosaur Train) and follows two children with a passion for science who befriend the new kid on their street – whose family happen to be aliens.

LA-based Wind Dancer Films recently finished production on a second season of the series, which is distributed internationally by UK-based Cake Entertainment and consists of 129 11-minute episodes in total.
