Int’l nets add Elton John special

Elton John has sold more than 300 million records

Broadcasters in Canada, Asia and Europe have picked up a two-hour special celebrating the life of musician Elton John.

Elton John: I’m Still Standing has been acquired by Nine Network in Australia, Rogers in Canada, the UK’s ITV, WOWOW in Japan and TVNZ in New Zealand.

France’s CStar, TV2 in Denmark, RTÉ in Ireland, NRK in Norway and NPO3 in the Netherlands have also added the show, as has M-Net in South Africa. Alfred Haber sells the programme globally.
