Ink Master renewed, gets spin-off

Viacom-owned US cablenet Spike TV has ordered a seventh season of tattoo-themed competition series Ink Master, as well creating a spin-off.

Spike will air 16 new episodes of Ink Master, produced by Endemol Shine North America subsidiary Original Media, in spring 2016.

Meanwhile, spin-off Ink Master: Redemption (6×30’) will premiere in September. The series focuses on former participants of the main show who were unhappy with their results, offering them new tattoos.

Ink Master season six is currently airing.
