Indonesia finds Next Boy/Girl Band

The Next Boy/Girl Band was created by Talpa for the Netherlands’ SBS6

A media group in Indonesia has taken the format rights to Talpa Global’s talent competition format The Next Boy/Girl Band.

Global TV becomes the second company in Asia to acquire the format since Mipcom, where Vietnam’s Golden Screen Production signed up to make a local version of the show.

The format sees two record labels take on each other to create the next boy or girl band.

It was created by ITV-owned Talpa for Dutch broadcaster SBS6.
