India lands on BBC Earth

Indian TV operator Multi Screen Media Private has agreed with BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) to launch one of its new content brands in the country.

Life Below Zero

Factual-skewing BBC Earth will be rolled out as a channel in India offering programming such as Life Below Zero, Life Story, Human Universe and Operation Wild.

BBCWW, the commercial arm of the UK pubcaster, recently launched BBC Earth in Romania and Turkey and yesterday revealed a programming block deal for its drama-skewing First brand in Japan.

Multi Screen Media Private is known for running the Sony network of channels in India.
