I’m a Celeb for Denmark, Romania

Broadcasters in Denmark and Romania have greenlit local versions of UK entertainment format I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Denmark’s TV3 has commissioned the popular ITV reality series to be produced by United, the Danish prodco owned by ITV Studios Nordic. The series will be known locally as Jeg Er En Celebrity… Få Mig Væk Herfra! and will debut in early spring.

In Romania, CME-owned Pro TV has commissioned a 21-episode series, following a deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVSGE). The show will debut in February.

Both the local versions will be shot in ITV Studios’ South African jungle hub, with local production outfit Rapid Blue providing production services and hub facilitation.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here has been produced in 10 territories worldwide, most recently in the Netherlands. Other versions have been greenlit in Germany and Australia.

The 14th season of the original show aired on ITV1 in the UK, with the finale peaking at 11.2 million viewers and a 49% share. The programme sees celebrities dropped into a remote rainforest and compete in challenges to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
