ID visits Scene of the Crime

US network Investigation Discovery (ID) has greenlit a series in which investigative journalist Tony Harris explores criminal subcultures.

Scene of the Crime with Tony Harris (working title) will see the presenter examine crimes such as murder, robbery and fraud in a wider context and expose the criminal networks behind them.

The six-part series is due to start production with New York-based Part2 Pictures this summer and will air exclusively on ID in 2017.

Harris has previously appeared on ID as a contributor in the series Hate in America and is also set to present Black and Blue, a one-hour special about the impact of police shootings on African-American families.
