ID, People Magazine seek cult following

Discovery-owned US cablenet Investigation Discovery has partnered with People Magazine on two true crime series to premiere later this year.

People Magazine Investigates: Cults will start airing on ID on Monday June 4, with People Magazine Investigates: Crimes of Fashion due in the third quarter of this year.

Cults (6×60’), from Lucky 8, looks at how destructive and terrifying cults can be for members and their families.

Crimes of Fashion (3×60’), from People Magazine publisher Meredith’s in-house production company, looks at betrayal and murder in the fashion world, focusing on high-end fashion icons and their headline-capturing crimes.

Liz Massie is senior executive producer and Jessica Horowitz is associate producer for ID on both series.
