Hulu puts on All3Media’s GameFace

GameFace was written and created by star Roisin Conaty

US streamer Hulu has picked up the local rights to UK comedy GameFace from the distribution arm of All3Media.

GameFace (6×30’) is being produced by All3’s Objective Media and will premiere on Channel 4’s youth-skewing E4 network later this year.

Created, written by and starring comedian Roisin Conaty, the show follows a woman who spiritedly crashes her way through life, assisted by her life coach, best friends and an ever-patient driving instructor.

The original pilot episode of GameFace aired in the UK in April 2014. The six-part series is made by Objective Fiction (Fresh Meat, Peep Show, Witless) and was commissioned by C4 comedy commissioning editor, Rachel Springett. The executive producer for Objective is Ben Farrell, with Charlotte Lewis producing and Andrew Chaplin directing.

The international sales of GameFace were negotiated by All3Media International. The first season of the contemporary dramedy will be available to stream on Hulu in the US later this autumn.
