Hulu orders Future with Rogen

US streamer Hulu has handed a full series pick-up to Seth Rogen-fronted comedy Future Man.

The 13-episode project, which follows the secret life of a janitor, will air next year. Hulu ordered a pilot for the series in August 2015.

The show is being produced by Sony Pictures Television, Matt Tolmach Productions and Rogen’s prodco Grey Pictures.

The Canadian actor will exec produce alongside Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Matt Tolmach, with Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir writing.

The show explores how the janitor, who has a secret life as a world-renowned gamer, has also been tasked with saving the human race from being destroyed by aliens.
