Hulu enters Wonderland

US streaming service Hulu has acquired Australian drama series Wonderland from German distributor Beta Film.

Beta has also sold the 44×60’ series to Bell Media’s CTV in Canada, the Hot platform in Israel, RTL in the Netherlands, TV2 in Norway, Viasat in the Baltic region and Fox International Channels in the Balkans.

Beta said it is also in “advanced negotiations” with several other territories in Europe and Asia for the show.

Produced by FremantleMedia Australia, the Network Ten series is about a group of young urban professionals navigating the pitfalls of friendship, love and sex.

Beta is taking the show to MipTV as part of its drama slate.
