Hulu will clock up US$695m in revenue this year, an increase of 65% on 2011, and now has more than 430 content partners, according to CEO Jason Kilar.

Kilar said that the company’s Hulu Plus subscription service now has three million paying customers – more than twice the number it had the previous year.
Hulu – a joint venture between NBCUniversal, News Corp, Disney but no longer Providence Equity Partners, which reportedly exited earlier this year [2] – invested more than US$500m in content in 2011.
“We now have more than 430 content partners, providing over 60,000 TV episodes, 2,300 TV series, and 50,000 hours of video on Hulu and Hulu Plus,” said Kilar.
“Since the launch of Hulu in October 2007, we have generated over US$1bn for our content partners,” he claimed in a blog post [3].
