Video-streaming site Hulu has bagged the rights to 11 vintage sitcoms, including The Cosby Show and Third Rock From the Sun, in a deal with Carsey Werner TV Distribution, according to US trade reports.
The shows became available on Hulu’s US$7.99 per month subscription service Hulu Plus earlier this month. The deal is said to cover a total of 580 episodes.
Other shows included under the arrangement are Whoopi, Men Behaving Badly, Grounded for Life, That 80’s Show, The Tracy Morgan Show, Damon, Game Over, Davis Rules and Normal, Ohio.
