Hotel Hell takes bookings

Broadcasters in Spain, Australia, Slovakia and Iceland have picked up the first series of a Gordon Ramsay reality series.

Hotel Hell, which premiered on US net Fox in 2012, sees the celebrity chef try to revive struggling hotels and bed and breakfasts.

Mediaset (Spain), Nine Network (Australia), TV Joj (Slovakia) and Skjarrin (Iceland) have all licensed the show, which is produced by One Potato Two Potato, Ramsay’s joint-venture prodco with Optomen Television, part of All3Media.

It is distributed by Optomen International, which also sells other Ramsay shows including The F Word and Kitchen Nightmares.

US net Fox has already ordered a second season of Hotel Hell, which is expected to air in the fall 2013 season.

The first season of the show has sold into more than 100 territories since its launch, including BBC Worldwide’s channels in Asia and Africa.
