Honor bound for NBC

20th Century Fox Television and Temple Hill Entertainment’s Rosewood

NBC in the US has ordered a pilot for a police drama created by one of the executive producers of Fox medical crime drama Rosewood.

Family Honor is from Rosewood’s Nkechi Carroll and Matt Reeves (Felicity) and centres on four sisters who are adopted and live very different lives.

The show is being produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Reeves’ production outfit 6th & Idaho.

Yesterday NBC ordered a pilot for legal drama Blood Defense, based on a novel by author and former OJ Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark. The show is based on Clark’s eponymous book and will see her co-write and exec produce along with Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain.

The pilot being produced by ABC Studios and Mandeville TV and comes after Clark’s role in the Simpson case was highlighted in American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson, when she was played by Sarah Paulson.
