Telem has played a pivotal role in shaping and pioneering the Israeli TV landscape, in terms of both importing standout international properties and exporting its domestic content to other parts of the world.

He is credited with overseeing some of the most impactful television series in Israel in recent times, most notably Prisoners of War, which became the Emmy and Golden Globe triumph Homeland – for which Telem was personally awarded an Emmy for his role as executive producer.

Having served as Keshet VP of programming from 2007, before being promoted to senior VP of content in 2014, he was in charge of all Keshet shows on air, including format acquisitions and development for both local and international audiences.

He is now head of international content development at Spain’s Mediapro Group, coproducer of The Young Pope, and head of content at Inception, where he is developing not just new content but a whole new language of content creation specifically for VR.

The Inception VR app is planned to launch this fall.
