History grows charity beard campaign

History Channel in the UK has teamed up with charity Beating Bowel Cancer to launch the country’s Decembeard campaign.

Decembeard and History will work together to encourage millions of men in the UK to grow beards this December to raise money for the charity.

The campaign, which begins this week, includes 60- and 30-second promos, indents before all programmes and 12 on-air branded bumpers. History is also commissioning up to 14 pieces of beard-related digital content to be launched across all platforms alongside the hashtag #RealMenGrowBeards.
